The sixth season of the popular television show 'So You Think You Can Dance' begins the finale week, with the top three female and three male dancers performing in pairs.

In the Top 8 elimination episode, Mollee Gray and Legazy Perez were sent home. Please see "SYTYCD Season 6 Top 8 Elimination Episode" for details.

In this Top 6 performance episode, each dancer will perform in three different dance styles, and the partners will change three times. In this episode, latin ballroom dancer Ashleigh DiLello, who was injured and not allowed to perform last week, is ready to dance again.

The Top 6 Dancers Perform for the First Time

The first pair to dance in this episode is contemporary dancer Kathryn McCormick and latin ballroom dancer Ryan DiLello. Their first style is the samba, choreographed by Jason Gilkison and set to "Magalenha" by Sergio Mendes. They receive rave reviews from the judges, especially for Kathryn.

The second couple is contemporary dancers Ellenore Scott and Jakob Karr, performing their first style, Broadway. Their routine is choreographed by Tyce DiOrio, and set to "I Gotcha" from the Fosse soundtrack. The judges enjoy their piece, and the energy they both bring to it.

Next on stage is latin ballroom dancer Ashleigh DiLello and krumper Russell Ferguson. Their first style is lyrical jazz, choreographed by Sonja Tayeh and set to "Angel Standing By" by Jewel. They receive accolades from the judges for making the piece their own, especially Russell.

The Next Three Couples Perform

For the second style, Ellenore is paired with Ryan for a jazz routine, choreographed by Gary Stewart. The piece is set to "Kontact Me" by Boys Noize, and displays technical, precise movement. The judges worry that this may be possibly alienating to voters at this point, although they agree that it is danced well.

For her second routine, Ashleigh is paired with Jakob for a foxtrot, choreographed by Jean-Marc Genereaux and set to "Let the Good Times Roll" by Chuck Brown and Eva Cassidy. The judges are happy with this routine, and with the smooth lines this couple creates on stage.

Next, Ellenore is back on stage, this time paired with Russell. They perform a paso doble, choreographed by Jason Gilkison and set to "Village Attack" from the Blood Diamond soundtrack. The judges agree that Ellenore was good in this routine, although Russell could have been a little stronger.

The Final Three Couples Perform

For Kathryn's second style, she is paired with Jakob for a contemporary piece, choreographed by Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson from Complexions dance company. The routine is set to "At this Moment" by Michael Buble, and their performance garners a standing ovation all around - from the audience, the choreographers, and all three judges.

Ashleigh returns to the stage for the last time, and is paired with her husband and fellow latin ballroom dancer, Ryan. They perform a contemporary routine choreographed by Travis Wall, set to "I'm There Too" by Michelle Featherstone. The judges compliment the tenderness of the routine, and are happy to see Ashleigh and Ryan dancing together for the first time on stage.

Kathryn's final pairing is with Russell, and they perform a hip hop routine choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon, set to "I Can Transform Ya" by Chris Brown feat. Li'l Wayne and Swizz Beatz. The judges are very happy with this routine finishing off the competition portion of the season.

The Decision is Left in the Voters' Hands

There is no time left at the end of the episode for the judges' comments, so America is left to vote for their favorite dancers. Viewers will call the toll-free numbers provided for their favorites, and the dancer with the most votes will take home the title of "America's Favorite Dancer" at the end of the two-hour, live season finale tomorrow night.
